We have an annual certification process for dog and handler teams. Our certification is different than others in many ways.
We require dog and handler teams to locate and alert to live bedbugs and viable eggs only. Dead bugs, skin casts, other insects and odors are used as a distracter and dogs must not false alert to these odors.
This Certification is based on the National Pest Management Association's "Best Practices" guidelines.
